Mines a track car but I sneak it out onto the street a few times a year . Mostly because if I dont it just sits there as I dont go to the track anymore .

I had to vote "somewhere in between". I to only have a dream of owning a maverick to drive on a regular basis.

    Damn Snow

I would drive mine all year round but when the salt starts to be poured on the road I usually decide to put it away. Out comes the stock tires and the old rims and it sits in the garage

I have never left it on the good tires cause I hear it causes flat spots...... anyone know for sure if you leave your car sit for that long if that actually happens?

Yes, flat spots on tires occur while the car sits for a period of time. It is something that happens to me every year. The flat spots go away when I have driven a few miles. Feels really weird until they do though.

ps my car has only 16k original but very hard miles. Which puts me in the next to never driving category.

1974 Maverick I bought for $500 8 years ago when I was 16. Since then I have invested $30,000 into it.
For a little while it was a daily driver. Then when I decided to build if up it became show car in the warmer months. Hard to work on a daily driver. Getting the beater was the best move ashamed to admit the beater was a hyundai but it was for a greater cause. Not to mention getting chewed out going to union meetings in a foreign car not good:slap: Got rid of that POS as soon as possible, got a nice 97 Chevy S-10 widely accepted by all unions lol. 74Maverick, Thom
