I drive mine every day now that my 69 C-20 cab burnt up. Now it's time to fix the tranny in the daytona. It will take a while to get the truck back into good shape too. I hate that I have to drive it but not that I am driving it, but I am back working on it and that is great. I remember a time when it would get 23 miles a gallon. But since I built it 7 years ago its a real sleeper now I haven't gotten over 10 miles a gallon and I have tall gears. I just don't want to put to many miles on it all at once and not restore the body and handling before I get to many miles on it and it needs rebuilding again.

My blue 70 will be adaily driver when its done, while the green 70 with a spool,nitrous,4500 stall,no front swaybar and probably 380 gears will be a "street" car that I can drive to the track(when its done).the comet gets driven occationally and is very dependable.Ill try to get some pictures taken this wknd.

Mine will be a car show or cruise-in and occasional weekend driver only ... If my finances ever recover from my Grabber restoration I would love to get a car like Craig's '74 for a daily driver ...

mine fits into the "in progress" category. pulled engine nearly two years ago and put it in my son's 79 Mustang and still haven't finished the replacement motor. ended up putting my tranny into my son's car too. teaching these kids to drag race cuts into my own plans alot!

I use my Maverick for show and cruise nites mostly. I do take for a nice drive through Hines Park, a nice two lane road where people like us go to show off the car and enjoy a 40mph cruise. My car is orginal with only 33,000 miles. I want to keep the miles low. I have been thinking seriously about buying another Maverick to drive everyday but, the insurance and plates on another car has been stoping me. I have four cars and a truck. Needless to say, its expansive

Well, my mav's gonna be back on the road soon guys. After having one of my supras totalled out and having the other one come up as a gross polluter in a smog test, I've decided to back to the good ole mav. I gave her a full tune up, installed a rear spoiler, and am currently slapping in a couple of power seats out of my wrecked supra. Also got a rear view mirror out of a Dodget Dart that looks awesome and will be mounting sport mirrors and brazilian taillights very soon. I'll post some progress pics a little later.

Just a weekender. I do drive it from Atlanta to Detroit every year for the Dream Cruise. Be leaving next month. I also use it occasionally for a work or trip car, because I enjoy driving it so much. Sweet ride!

Dailey driver except when it rains. The door molding doesn't fit to well anymore and the windshield gasket has a crack (hole) in it  . Of course I have yet to start working on it so its my own fault. Now I just have to get a camera for some before and after pics to post.:slap:

I drive mine more than weekends & car shows, but it's definately not my daily driver. I've put about 20,000 miles on it in the 19 years I've had it.

Yeah, I drive mine everyday. I have a ford escort that I need to fix so I have a back up vehicle in case anything bad happens.

from 1977 to about 1995 was driven dailey, that's how I got the 155,000 miles on it. Has been in the barn for the past....I guess about 7 years. Drug (literally) it out a couple months ago. Turned it over a ffew times and she fired right up.
Got a little repair in the trunk area(shocks trying to come through). Then I can street it again. It'll be driven when ever I take a notion after that and slowly reworked.
