Mine is road worthy around town. I want to replace the four speed with a five speed and put taller tires on the rear end to bring the rpms down at cruising speeds. My back up lights don't work either and, like Jeff noted, I remember to push in the clutch pedal before turning the key.

    One '71 show quality.
One '71 rolling chassis (some idiot took the 302)

    Would only take one vote.

Mines a daily driver 8-9 months out of the year, I drive it everywhere! (Save for off-roading...) The months it's not driven, is in the winter when salt is on the roads, I use that time to get bodywork done on it!

I guess I should also mention, my maverick has no reverse lights at all...I've been meaning to install some

Roadworthy? .... it was when I parked it. It had a 4.62 gear then, so no long trips. Mainly to the drag strip and back. It has a 3.55 now, so it ought to be great.

Back up lights .... I converted both lenses to solid red and they are now wired to the brake lights. Always thought my car needed a lot more brake light after modern cars started getting third brake lights. Did away with the back up lights. With the exhaust note this car has, if you don't hear me coming, you have a severe hearing problem.
