I was thinking 2% probably like the total amount of Mavericks made that are still alive

Mine is tagged, insured and ready to go anywhere I want with it. I take it on distance trips a few times a year.

Had a guy looking over my Comet at at Mustang & Fords car show here in Florida ..and after looking over my car he asked .. ' Why a Comet ' ?.... To which I replied .. Why a Mustang ? .. ANYONE can find a Mustang from 65's on up ..and buy bolt on everything's for their cars ..Try finding a Comet or Maverick that is in good shape .. The Mavericks or Comets you see out here today have usually had a lot of Loving Care applied .

I get those types of comments from time-to-time. In most cases the comments are positive from people with fond memories about owning a Maverick or Comet or my mom, dad, grandfather, aunt, etc. used to own one.

Either that or they think it is a Camaro!

We only have 30 owners with road worthy cars on this site????

See the ballet at the beginning of this thread.

Mine drives on the trailer every weekend in the summer and does a quarter mile at a time. Reports of burnouts in front of my shop have been grossly overstated.

Mine isn't to far from being roadworthy. At least that's what I keep telling myself. But its one of those situations where every time you think you fixed something you find something else. My goal is Nationals in July, hopefully that's plenty of time.
