there's all these little pieces to my door handle (push button). how do they go back together? It was apart when I got the car... every piece of it. If you know how I install it so that it will open the door, that would help too lol.

I'll post a picture as soon as I find my phone. So many pieces.

    k. here is a pic of what I have. pretty sure I'm missing some screws and hopefully that is all I'm missing. I'm just going to drive the mav to a nut and bolt place cuz I need pretty much all of them for my headlights, side markers and grill. Anyone have a pic of what's supposed to be included with a door handle? (sorry about quality - cell phone pic)

Look at the Repair info online at AutoZone.com. Don't think they have any Maverick repair guides but look at a Mustang, e.g., '67. The door handle is identical or close enough. They have an exploded view of all the door mechanisms.

nope. already tried that one. they only tell you how to remove and install the door. I'm looking into buying a new set of these handles (mine are pretty pitted), but I wouldn't mind getting this one back on for the time being. Might not even be from my car for all I know.

Look under "Door Handle" I saw the exploded views of all the door mechanisms before I replied to your post.
