hey guys I was removing the door off my 74 maverick for another and removed the bracket as well and the backing plate fell off. I have tried for a couple hours to get it back up there and had no luck I removed the kick panel to try and get my hand up there but won't go up as high. Any recommendation to put thenbacking plate back up there so I can put the brackets back on. Need help

A good bendable Magnet on a Stick, or the copper wire one from Snapon Tools.

Tried using a thing coat hanger metal ones and putting them through the holes but kept getting tangled with the wires. Would a magnet really work ?

Go find a broken microwave and in the bottom there will be circular magnets that will be plenty strong. Or try harbor freight, you should be able to get something strong enough there.

Can you fish a string down to it, pull it up there and get one bolt started to hold it up there? How about a kid with small arms? ;)

How about some mig wire, its usually has some strength to it to push past some wires. Works all the time at work for pulling wires place and such.
