Ok so Jamie never finished this build?
I am thinking of doing the same thing to my '76 with some slight differences. But same project.
Shame this thread died so long ago. Been thinking about this project for a while now. Since I have a '84 and an '88 turbo motors sitting around. I've owned 4 TurboCoupes and an XR-7 turbo and those were alot of fun.
So I think I'll start collecting parts and maybe get busy.
    '94 Ranger harness
'92+ block and head decked .015
    '01+ 2.5L intake
    any '80's 2.3L T-5
I think instead of sourcing a Pinto pan, I'll just cut and fab the stock steel pan to be front sump and find a Pinto oil pump pick up.
    Have a SuperCoupe 60mm tbody.
May reuse stock turbo pistons or may go new. Want compression around 8.5:1
