That is what I meant by "fancy". Some of those items are pretty neat, but all together it is too "loud".

Good work, regardless if we like it or not. Someone is VERY proud of what they have built, and he is a REAL Maverick for going that far out to make a one-of-a-kind vehicle like that...I still give him (y)

    But I don't want...

yeah, someone went to alot of work, I'll give ya that....

to me this a classic case of when someone doesnt know when to quit modifying a car.

I am a firm believer that when modifying ,things need to flow. pick a theme or style, and stick with it.that isnt to say you cant make it your own. (y)

Good Points Ferdinad Porsche's philosophy is that Form should follow Function, I like the head light buckets give the mav a meaner " face"

What about this then...Lose the duck tail spoiler on the roof the big gaudy blower and scoop, hood pins, and the not needed extra set of fog lights in the bumper cover.
It would be a great looking car if some of the things were taken off or toned down a bit. IMO

I bought a cobra II in 1978. Blue with white stripes,, 302 4 speed car. Had fun with it. It was a 76 model and was in like new shape. Sold it in 1980 to have some cash for getting married. Used to want one again,, now I dont even like them.

I am using those side pipe covers on the war machines rebirth. It takes a big set of balls to cut perfectly good rocker panels up. :D I also have a surprise on the frt spoiler nobody has done yet. I need one of those black holes RadMav has......

whats the biggie about chopping up "perfectly good" rockers?:bananaman I cut mine up, and routed the exhaust thru them with a side exit. cant ya see it?.. its right there in my pic, ...oh thats right, I forgot about that big black smudge on the lens :D

front spoiler? something new? cool (y) .... glad mine wont be the only one that hasnt been done yet,....oops,not true, I already did it,..that counts as being done:(

not to be cynical, but I'd almost bet that since the birth of Hot Rodding, damn near everything has been done to something at one point in time. now, maybe not to a maverick,....but to something, somewhere.:hmmm:

those headlights on that blown mav look horrible. look like some plastic ricer crap that doesnt even fit right, the way it goes over the hood lip really truned me off. if it were recessed more into the fenders like the stock headlights i might feel a little better about it.

still in all i think way too many maverick owners are suffering from a bad case of ''stang envey"
