At this point I have about 9 jackets accounted for. Here's a higher resolution picture to get a better look at the color combinations. If you send me an email, please specify the style number as well as stating the colors...I wouldn't want any mistakes...;)this point I have about 9 jackets accounted for. Hi Chuck...I just looked though the emails I received and I don't see one from you. You can send me another one now or wait until we are sure this is a go...

A quick count shows 11 accounted for...not bad...we might just get there yet! :D

Well....we're still at 11. I talked to the embroidery place today and I wanted to pass some info along. I found out we can place an order for fewer jackets, but the penalty is that they will cost more. Here is the breakdown:

    1 - 5 pieces: add $15 per jacket
    6 - 23 pieces: add $5 per jacket

We're already into the "add $5 per jacket" range if everyone were to order one that said they would. My thinking is that we should probably wait awhile and see if we can get to 24 to lower the price, but I wanted to throw this info out there anyway...at least in the end we can still place the order if there truly isn't enough interest to get close enough to 24, and everyone agrees they still want to.

I'm surprised there is not more interest! I also think we should wait a tad bit more, if they aint buying now,,, another 5 or 15 bucks will kill the deal! I can wait, but I do want one,,,, well as long as Ford dont sue me!!!

I agree (we are up to 15 now! ;)).

As far as Ford suing...I wouldn't worry about it. If anything I guess they'd sue me...and I highly doubt that will happen. How do I know? I work in a Ford building in Dearborn, MI in the shadow of of Ford World Headquarters. I wear my jacket just about every day in the colder months. I've been to meetings where there were Ford executives wandering around and nobody has said anything. (also notice there isn't a Ford oval on the jacket anywhere...the embroidery place won't even do that unless I have proof it's authorized). The Maverick really is kind of a forgotten car, even amongst Ford people. Now if they were unauthorized Mustang jackets...well.... :)
