That is obscene. I look forward to the results at the track. That said, how is it relevent to this thread? I don't think anyone here thinks of you as a BS club member. I'd like to see a thread about your current project to date.
Hey Craig, that looks great! I used the same POR-15 Ford Blue on my block and it also turned out a little dark, but the product itself seems to be rock solid. I think it's a great engine paint. Sounds like that's going to be a fun car to drive!
well i was thinken of goin all vista orange with my comet gt untell i figured out this! im goin with the same blue on the block as the body color with croam valv covers.i like the stock look of yours thow with the orange.it realy sets the block off.
I'm impressed with both builds. Great numbers guys I love this kind of stuff I can't wait to see what my 331 puts down.....
I guess our definition of stock are different, I ment no disrespect. So I guess your car and my car will be in the same class at the round-up?
Just caught this thread from the other thread on engine builds. VERY NICE! Will really like to see a chassis dyno to compare numbers.
No disrespect taken at all. I don't consider THIS car stock at all. Yes...it is more stock than yours, but I would not consider it stock (except maybe at Carlisle.....He, He, He). We would not be in the same class at the Roundup Nationals.
I would like to do that as well. I would be curious to see how much I lose by the time it gets to the rear wheels....with adding engine acessories, an air breather, shortie headers, etc.
Craig ... if you do dyno it after it's completed I'd also be interested if the factory air breather robs any horsepower compaired to an open air aftermarket breather. I have a K&N Filter in my Grabber with the Factory Air Cleaner ... I always wonder whether its getting sufficient air ...
hi my name is mike i just bought a 1972 maverick. I just wondering where i can get parts or if anybody wants to by parts.
