Looking at them and got the part number from another thread, called Ford and ask if they could be got, he said yes, but the price has gone up since 2011, they are now $58.00 and change each!
They look great but thats a bit high in price for me, I'll stick with my originals for free.(y)

Back in 2011, I got what I thought was the European part number from Tody in Germany for these SUV emblems. It turned out to be a Ford engineering number but my local Ford dealer was able to convert it to a good part number. I had him order only one to test the waters. It came back as the correct one and he told me that it showed a stock of 15 in Detroit. Well, we cleaned out the country's stock in one day LOL! They had to make more of them. He did say that the part number was going to throw up a red flag as it was a number not used on any vehicle in North America but it appears that it must still work. These were 33.00 back in 2011 so at least one thing has changed

the european maverick was a small SUV, from 1993 to 2000 basing on a Nissan Terrano with slight changes and 2000 to 2007 a copy of the american Escape.

in australia there was a Maverick SUV from 1988 to 1998 which was a copy of the Nissan Patrol.

The SUV these emblems came on was the Escape sold in Europe. When my dealer first gave me the OK on ordering them, I asked him "how are they described" and he said "An Escape emblem but a non US part number" that is why I ordered only one at first. When he called me to tell me that my emblem was in, I asked him to open the package and read me what the emblem said - he went ahead and said "MAVERICK" :yahoo:

I'm surprised we could get them to begin with, I tried to get a Mexican Lincoln grill for my F150, but since they weren't sold here, Someone at Ford wouldn't let it be shipped, to the dealer I buy from. :(

That was the same "red flag" that was supposed to fly on the emblems but apparently never did :)
