    I guess for hard core racing, a spool is the best thing.

    The old washer trick........ It has been around awhile and it will work to some degree. It also causes more wear and it will slowly fade away as everything wears and loses that extra friction that was picked up by binding the gears up with the extra washers. Best to go and buy the right stuff if you want traction-lok.

    An old worn open diff will "catch posi" if the car unloads the left side enough;like when you try to powerbrake,or if all the garbage in the trunk is on the right side,or the drivers side rear springs are weaker than the right.Don't worry it won't last long.

    Thanks for everones input on the subject But I will never run the car with the rearend untell I have the rearend redone. As for drag racing it It might see the strip once just to get some #s but other than that it will be a Street hotrod.
