I have not tried the setup, but looks like nice clean setup for the price. If I seen it B4 I did my mine I might have gone that route. I did my "added a horn", so I wud have had to add another relay. I think it's a worthwhile buy.

Looks very sanitary and will save a bunch of wiring, just wonder if you can get a replacement relay in case it goes bad

That looks awesome, inexpensive too. I'm interested as well if anyone has used them. My buddy wired up his own and it made a decent different in brightness. Those plugs look like they accept a standard 5 pin relay, so no trouble finding replacements.

I've done several headlight relay setups (not one of these). this looks like a great way to do them, a great price and everything is there...:thumbs2:

I bought the kit last year. It's still sitting on my bench. The wire is close to 18 or 20 gauge but the insulation makes it look like its's 10 gauge. Regular cheap speaker wire that come with a cheap stereo has bigger gauge wire. I didn't want to use the small gauge wire so I bought new headlight pigtails with same 14 gauge wire that came factory and new locking spade connectors to replace the ebay wire but another project got in my way to finish the relay upgrade. My plan was to use my old regulator to house the relays since I have a one-wire alternator. I have no idea of the quality of the relays yet.

What no one considers is most headlight bulbs are rated 12.6v, so the drop through headlight switch and wiring is already considered...

Removing headlight switch and approx 10ft of wire from circuit will increase voltage to lamps even if similar size wiring to orig is used...

I did a tech article on head light relays the . The difference is very notable . Voltage difference at the light with eng. off before / after relays 8.7 to 11.8 volts before / after at 1000 rpm's 9.8 to 14.2 volts.

I put this kit in the Comet about 3 months ago. Very easy installation, and has made a very noticeable difference in night driving.

Same exact kit? What did the relays look like, as in, are they replaceable? From the pix, they look quite crappy and there's no rating given...

I used this kit but swapped out to Ford relays. They used a cheap relays in the kit. I have no miles on them just checked if they worked properly and they did.

Good to know, I already have a nice set of relays that I can use for this. They are extras from when I installed mine.
