I need a set of center caps for my magnum 500 wheels that I got off of my parts car. I have restored the wheels and have them on the car, but haven't found the center caps yet. Ansen slots were probably the most popular in the 70's but other made them also.

I bought them from S Roberts on this board. It's been awhile since I got them. I think someone else is now doing the emblems. Craig Selvey maybe.... Someone will chime in...[/QUOTE]

I don't have the Comet decals...I only have Maverick decals. Seth Roberts has the Comet ones.

Fenton and U.S. Mag were also popular slot- makers. The US mag slots usually had a 5 bolt centercap that's the same pattern as Torque thrusts.

I think 73 was the first year for slots.
I might be wrong, but I am pretty sure.

Try Mustangs Unlimited, or any of the classic Stang vendors.

    Love those wheels!

Well I am not sure about everyone else, but I love the slot style mags. I had a set of 14" on my 74 when I was 16, had the 3" lift with shackel bars, but man did it look mean! I bought another set in hopes of getting another Ford hotrod to throw them on, when I found my Maverick I was so excited until I pulled off the original hubcaps and saw that I have a 4 lug car I was so disappointed, now I am working on getting them on there regardless of if I got the 6 cyl in it or not, at least make it look tough!
