So ive been looking for a C4. Local guy says he can do a 302 and C4 rebuild for 3K$. This is outside my budget. Am I being unrealistic is my expectations? I t $3K a reasonable price point?

More info please. Are you saying you can get both engine & trans rebuilt for $3K?

    If he's removing & installing, that's a helluva deal.

What’s a “rebuild”, new gaskets & some spray paint?
IMHO beware of a “good deal”!

If it is a full rebuild on both then that is a great price.
