Ive got to comment on the trailer thing,Street cars are driven, trailer cars are trailered,If you scared you gonna break you didnt build it strong enough. This has always been a pet peeve of mine, " my car is a street car, I just dont drive it because" A excuse is the easiest thing in the world to find. It takes a whole lot more to drive a car 200 miles and race it then drive it home. Dont be scared people get her out and Drive.
I may some day build a track only car. But it will be in the 7s or faster and even then if I can pull it off as streetable I will I am still in the air what motor I am throwing together this go around. But my car will run mid 11s NA or faster and 10s with a small shot of sauce. I will still drive it anywhere anytime(weathering permitting) Just my out look on things and means nothing to anybody else.
dude I would totally understand if you had to tow your car........ Shoddy workmanshipment and all......
gee, thanks for being so understanding Lance,..I know,....I do really sh*tty work but I do plan on driving it,....I'll also say , yes, it will see a trailer for long hauls, since I doubt I could keep enuf gas in it.
My thoughts exactly.Of course I'm not all that fast.Drove my green 4dr 106 miles to Bristol, sprayed it all weekend(and drove it to & from the hotel/out to eat, etc)ran 12.40s and drove it home.Oh wait,I did haul my M&Hs in the trunk along with my toolbox & luggage,no use in wearing out my so called "street" tires.3.55s & a cheapy 3500 stall meant around 3000 rpm cruising at 60 mph.It was a 55 zone,so I kept up with traffic just fine.
