    Hey all,

The Maverick is running well and my family had fun at the local car show today (20 miles away). We are just getting started, but my son was pretty stoked. The green 72’ was stock 302 with Granada brakes up front, dual exhaust and Crager wheels (15” - 50s on the rear).

The orange Boss (per the owner), was too much race car, not much of a driver. Requires race fuel, low gears in a 4 speed manual tranny, Ford 9 inch rear end. It was a good looking car though. The orange was a little Moparish for me, but again, a beautiful car. There were plenty of the run of the mill chevys and even a couple of real nice Mopars.

Oddly enough, both of my boys prefer the “big bumper” look, so if anybody in the midwest has some decent bumpers I may be interested.

Thats what it is all about going out and having some fun, many happy times ahead, but to be honest its more fun to drive them and watch and listen to the people that see the car
