    It's the fumes. :90:

Also the boredom of sanding and polishing, sanding and polishing, smoking funny shaped dog turd cigarettes (what could that be?) :hmmm: , followed by more sanding and polishing.

neither are from Unlimited either... just more fiberglass stuff that sucks! i know things can't be as good as OE! but man look at the fit or should i say NOT Fitting. just so you know these pictures were given to me or ok from the owner of these mavericks to put these images up on the site so others don't get taken.

again i rest my case! just a another reason to buy my carbon fiber stuff :p :D

The owner of the spoiler probably had to put a ton of work in it just to get it to look like that.;) Those quarter extensions are OEM Grabber ones. My fiberglass extensions that came with the fiberglass spoiler kit were so bad that I couldn't even use them no matter what I did to them. Had to buy OEM ones after all that work.

I will start by saying that I have never used a fiberglass body part...
However, after 7 years hanging out on F-body sites, I notice trends from all the other guys that can afford glass parts. Many more guys than Maverick sites, no offense, just true...
US Body Source, VFN, and Glasstek all get very high marks from the Camaro crowd.
Unlimited doesn't even do anything for late Camaros, so I have no idea there.
Showcars and a couple of late model only outfits I can't even remember names of get the same reviews as UP.
On this site, Crites gets high marks from what I have read.

Do you make a Grabber hood in glass?
How about front and rear valances?
    Sure could use these parts...

    Ratio,
maybe if US Body has a really good rating, you could let them know that you would like to buy mav parts but have seen that they are not up to the usual US Body standards. maybe they would consider some minor retooling to correct the issues with the parts to keep their good name.

i have no doubt in my mind that those guys make good stuff for camaros and what not, but they sell way more of those then mavericks. and when that mold sits around for years and no one makes anything from it or remakes the mold all that happens is you lose quality!

nah sorry i need a grabber hood to start with... balances have been something i'm thinking about however i can see where i might run into an issue with fitment with that since its so touchy on how that think mounts.

Someone loan the man a Grabber hood!!! :yippee:

I would buy a good Grabber hood out of CF or FG...
Either one would paint the same imo.

Derrick's stuff works, fits and is as ordered. We trial fit the spoilers on my car just to make sure. They fit as good as the originals do.

I was in the market for a fiberglass hood for my Mustang and decided to stop and see a company called Cincinnati Composites. They are local and I have seen them at some swap meets etc.The problem I see with making these hoods and parts is #1-everything is hand made so there is a lot of room for error.#2-It was the most awful working conditions I have ever seen.I bet they have a big turnover in employees. The warehouse they were in looked like it should have been condemned.Fiberglass dust filled the air and there was about 200 hoods in various stages of being layed up.There wasn't any quality control.I actually was high from the fumes when I left,I can imagine what kind of an attitude you would have if you worked there all day.Its no wonder the parts don't fit from some of these companies.Needless to say,I didn't purchase a hood.Saved my money and bought one from Cervini's.Cost more but was first class all the way.We need to talk them into making Maverick parts.
