LOL ... thanks ... but filling tiny little holes and then smoothing them out doesn't take long ... I just wish I had my own shop ... I would just spray the entire car and get it over with ... The door ding on the bottom was complements of Hawkco loading the car on the trailer when I brought it home ... Ray .. you sure you want him to trailer your new car?
Yeah, that's just what I need...Hawko dinging it up, then he gets you to fix it and put grabber stripes on it like your yellow car
Wow ... that is starting to look like a RedNeck Grabber isn't it! To two areas of primer that extend up on the fender and the 1/4 panel is where the original owner got keyed or scratched and had two 12 inch long gobs of touch-up paint so I had to smooth them out ..
Ok, so I buy the car Terry loaded on a trailer and didn't tear up, and then I tear it up in the same way. Hmm... I think that Hawkco is just bad luck...
be careful not to use galvanized nails... they will rust pretty fast.... i have heard that method as well...
I know galvanized metal doesn't weld well ... but isn't the galvanization process supposed to prevent rust? Galvanized steel is used on the inner rockers on all Mavericks and in the cowl on later Mavericks.
I just hate to see you try anything else other than welding them up. As much as it's been talked about, the only right way to do it is to weld them up. The other ways might last quite a while, but they are not going to last for the life of the car like welding them would.
