Ha ha. Nice chop. But I think having a badass front end is enough...

I like it better than the Mustang II conversion. Really looks great...I can't wait to see the car in the Race Pages;) .

A buddy of mine just bought two of those crossmembers (67-70 Stang) due to the other thread that got this started. He modified one to go under a 63 Fairlane. They bolt in where the steering box was, and the other side uses the idler arm bolt holes, then you just drill the front where it touches the frame. Uses older (up to 2004 Stang) components, and a coil over kit for the stock struts, or you can use their aftermarket stuff. I'll probably get one for my Mustang, so I can use big headers on it, then sometime put one on the Maverick, since it'll be needing to be "renewed" too. The Fairlane one is not developed yet, that's why he modified it to fit. They will be out for lots more it seems like too.

    Looks great!
So that is their Mustang kit modified for a Maverick? Will they be marketing a Maverick kit after they complete your car?

Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing - a "bolt-on" MII style front end?

    Very nice.... and intriguing. :hmmm:

It is a pinto type rack and pinion with a 64-70 Mustang K member and struts. The struts are different than the Mustang kit so it will basically be a kit for Mavericks but many of the parts will be the same as their 64-70 Mustang kit. The plan for this car is not to run in it any classes where stock parts are necessary, that is what I have my orange Cleveland car for. I don't think I will have it anywhere this year unfortunately. I don't think I can make the roundup and then I just realized last week that the gathering this year is the same weekend as the NMRA at Joliet. My plan is to have it done for 2008. The price is around $3000 with brakes and then you would have install which should be able to be done yourself if you can cut and weld(mainly the shock towers). The a arms and the k member are even powder coated. They have been great to work with. I think that answers all of the questions for now.

I got a price of 2700 for the K member kit,,Adj struts 500,,Brakes 550,New springs..100..3800,,Too much for a solid bushing lower control arm front end,I would've rather seem some sort of Heim on the ends of those A arms for more adjustability,,Also no upper caster camber plates,,It looks like it wont have much caster into it...But then again,Im looking at pictures..
