    Finally got it out and took some pictures. Only took me a month. :D

    In front, above, and behind rear wheel wells were replaced with patch panels cut from bargain quarter skins from Mavoholic. Fabbed patches for the DS outer wheel well and both drop downs. Cut a patch from a Mustang outer wheel well for the PS but if I did it again I'd just fab one from flat stock. Seem like the same amout of work either way.

    Small section of the PS front fender was pushed back and bent over from a minor front end bump. Front valance had curb damage. Repairs to hood, floors, cowl, and apron were covered in previous threads.

    Painted the dash and dash cover, both with vinyl paint custom mixed by the paint store. While it makes for a nice match to use vinyl paint on the metal, I'm not sure I'd do it again. It's quite soft and scratches easily on the metal. Good side is the paint was ready to spray and I have some left for touch ups. Blends really well.

    This is the second head liner I've done. Learned as much the second time around as I did the first. Hope I never have to put that knowledge to use. :rolleyes: Things I learned this time:
    . Don't pull the liner too tight the first time around. It can distort the headliner and cause wrinkles.
    . Don't depend on aerosol glue, not even 3M. I'd try to find brush on if I ever did it again.
    . Get a bunch of those spring clips from an office supply store. They hold better than clothes pins.

    While, I'm sharing my learning experiences, I had a heck of a time with replacing the reveal molding. Had to massage each of the 50-odd clips in 1-3 ways. On some the little tit that holds the clip on the rivet wasn't down enough. Four penny nail works well to bend it down a little. On some the spring that snaps over the rivet was too high or too low. On ALL the bump that snaps over the molding was so high the molding would not slide over it. Tapped them down and still had a hard time getting the molding in place. While the clips for the front glass will work on the rear, there are some that are shorter that fit better.

    You have it looking gud. From what I can see on the body work u must have had some kind of experience in body work. I see u used peel & stick alum face insulation in most of the interior.
    Did u put it inside the rear quarter panels? I put some in my cars trunk area mosty on the wheel wells, but not the quarters for fear of having to make a repair and having to try and remove the stuff.
    I used it inside the quarters behind the door post as far as I cud reach and stopped there when the idea of having to remove the stuff to do some future repairs (welding) in those areas struck me.

    Anyway, ur car looks like Mavaholic's; I saw his car at the 2010 Iowa Roundup and he has done fine job on his restoration and from what I see your on a similiar path. :thumbs2:

    Hey Mojo,

    Thanks for the compliments but I've seen Mavaholic's. Can't compare mine to his one owner beauty. I'm going for a nice driver. Lots of flaws in mine when you look close. This was my first attempt at any major body work and first whole paint job. I tryed for a really nice result but some mistakes show. Pictures are very forgiving. :dancing: Anyway, I enjoyed learning how to do some things and am OK with the result with one exception. I won't mention it and maybe some people won't notice it right off.

    I bought the insulation off ebay. Might be similar to Peel & Stick, don't know. Its 1/4" rubber with foil on one side and paper to peel off the stickum on the other.

    Yes, I put it inside the quarters, as far as I could reach.

    BTW, heater/AC box is in place. No heater hoses or AC hoses hooked up yet.
