First vehicles?

    1964 Mercury Pick up.Built it from a farm truck,put in a 429 and c6.Re-did the truck 2 more times over the 22 years i owned it just sold it 2 months ago.

    Uh ... it says "Ford" on the tailgate in big letters ....

    Nice truck .... I think it is so cool that Canada got Mercury trucks. Didn't have them down here in the US.

    First car was a 72 Ford Capri (I was 14 when I bought it).

    I had to walk home quite often to get my older brother to drive the car back home before my parents found out I had it out of the yard again!

    Couldn't drive a standard trans to save my life back in 84!:)

    Think i posted on this. But now you make me think of what i had towed away, Screw that wish i dad the two rockcrushers the 68 cc heads, the camel hump heads, four posi.twelve bolts, and a yard of 9 incher's
    That's what i get for thinking. LOL

    The biggest problem is the tailgates are worth big $$$'s Gate was missing when i got the truck and a Ford one went on.Could never justify $500 or more for a Merc Gate.

    I figured that would be a rare item ... pickup trucks get used up.
