due to time restrictions the mini meet at silver springs will be very informal. as usual we are meeting at the silver springs N.P.D. all ford show. this year is bigger than ever. when i got my registration back it was #1119. last year we had 1000 cars. it is too late to get the free park passes but you could still try to register. not sure if they are still taking apps. i know of 4 from this board confirmed to go and CAMEO always has a good turnout. last year we had 32-34 2 door mavs and comet and 2 4 doors. very high caliber of cars. PART-TIME had the honor last year of winning best in class. :Handshake  i am going to be working on some bigger plans for next year and will keep everyone posted. if you are planning on going please let me know so i can look for you. i would love to put faces behind these names. to find me just look for the only green restomod 4 door out there. i should be nearby though out the day

Damn!!! we had only 6 mavs in our GREAT state of Texas...

and 4 of them belonged to 2 people, so only 4 owners showed up!

Silver springs...Is that near Jacksonville? beacouse I live just south of there about 17 miles and I would love to go. Another one for you, Is this show open to anyone who just wants to go and look at the cars or do you need a membership to a club to get in? and most of all when is it ?

yes the show is open to spectators but you have to purchase a park admission to get to the cars. they do have preregistration but i'm not sure if it is closed already. i do know they have already passed their 1000 car mark to get the free show passes. if you go to the National Parts Depot website and click on evernts it will lead you to the page with the info. the dates are jan. 6-7 gates open at 7:00 and i would advise to not arrive to late as all the best parking spots get taken fast. the entry fee is $17.00 per car since they already passed the 1000 mark.
like MAVAHOLIC said silver springs in in Ocala. not far from you at all. it is the best all ford show in the south. alot of cool mav and comet people sharing ideas. you will enjoy yourself.:drive:
B.T.W. i would love to meet you. i am trying to get a registry of maverick and comet owners for florida so we can keep in touch and do some get togethers thru out the year. look for the restomod green 4 door mav. thats me:wave:

Dana, have you gotten your wheels and tires yet? i have added a few small things since turkey rod run. you will notice one change right away. no hints tho. i don't have the details on the pony run. this man is a past silver springs participant i ran into at old town last week. he said he is going to the pony run. you can email him at draggon_13@yahoo.com. his name is Richard Knight. he drives the robins egg blue mav that was parked next to part-times yellow one last year. he can give you details. look forward to seeing you guys again. we will most likely be up there around 7:00- 7:30 a.m. to get a good parking spot. i am supposed to call Richard to let him know when we are close.
