so do you think it would have any clearance issues? do you know if the bell housing is any larger then the c4's?

The top loader will bolt to a 157 tooth bell housing as well.

I have hedman long tube headers with a toploader, I also have a lakewood scattershield that can use either 157 or 164 tooth flywheels.

Could one of you toploader guys please post the number of the Hurst shifter installation kit that you're using? They don't show one for Mavericks. I presume that most of you are running CompetitionPlus shifters? Thanks. John B

The shifter location on the tail shaft will determine witch installation kit you need. The one in my earlier post is a rear mount tail shaft out of 64-73 mustang, so that is what I ordered the kit for.

Do you guys know what are the prices i should be looking for when locating the items for the 4 speed swap. such as clutch petal assembly, clutch linkage and used Toploader/bell housing? I just need to know what prices i should be looking for.

Thanks for the info everyone I'm just weighing the pros and cons between the T5 and toploader trying to find out the round about difficulty and price of each one.
