Front end swap what fits the best?

    im going to use a foxbody front crossmember by cuting the frame rails sothat it fits at the correct highth, weld it in then cut what i dont need and replace it with a tubular kmeember as for the towers there is enuff room inside the fenders to set up the foxbody towers with coilovers making car lighter and handle great, with so many options for parts your head spins

    Hey Mitchell was the crossmember wide enough out of the pinto to fit in the maverick ? If you would give me some details on how you changed it over like where you made your cuts and what you did to strengthen the frame rail where you welded it in. I know about all the aftermarket kits and box frame plates so how different was it using the pinto frontend ? Thanks

    that post was in '09...
    I have the RC 107 kit and love it. we welded in the crossmember and then just took the parts out of their boxes and bolted them on...:thumbs2:
    everything was there, all the bolts, brackets and clips.

    Get an aftermarket kit.....it fits right out of the box.
