Here is a quote from the Funnel Web webpage:
"The 302 Funnelweb, in our opinion, is going to require some serious motor and heads to fully realize the capability of the radical design. Once again a 6000+ rpm stroker motor with a head in the 290+ flow range (intake) would be a prime match for this manifold. Putting one of these on a moderately built, low compression, 302, such as Project 11.99, makes us hesitant, as the low and mid range loss of power would hurt ET's tremendously."

Now, this is what the manifold is built for, 6000 rpm and up. Elswhere on the website they say up to 9000 rpm. Unless you are running a big stroker or are running at 6000-9000 rpm on the street this manifold may not be your best bet. You will probably get more power and efficiency from one of the other fine manifolds built for street engines or at least for the rpm range that you are running. Nobody I know runs a minimum rpm of 6000 on the street.

If my father was on this message board, he would say putting a Funnel Web on a street machine is "farting under the cover." A former boss would say "it's as worthless as a mother-in-law's kiss."

I like farting underneath the covers, as long as I hold the wife's head under there so she has to smell it.

As far as a mother in laws's kiss... that is pretty worthless

Unless Parker has US copyrights on their design then the Chinese manifolds can be sold over here with no fear of retribution at all....I mean the next question is how many people here in the US and Canada actually know that "Parker" even exists much less makes manifolds.(short of a few forums and one or two racers)

Its a patent not a copyright. This note is copyrighted but if it had a drawing of a device I would have to patent it to protect it.

Thanks Paul, I meant the name is under the copyright, like a brand name like Pepsi or Coke ect.. but you are right the patent controls the actual product made thanks for the note of clarification.
