I really dig Stefan's effort and foresight for creating this new section and it is very much appreciated. I would like to offer a few minor suggestions to improve the garage's appeal and overall functionality. Build it bigger, better, stronger.. and they will come.

First suggestion is to enable clicking the larger slideshow picture right below the thumbnails to end up with that members media gallery "larger zoomed photo" link(you know.. the main one that you click the +/enlarge button or the picture itself. Or even end up at the "img/attachment" page that opens in another separate tab to see the full monty shot of the original file sized pic(if available).

As of now.. I fumbled around clicking any and every picture I could get to enlarge until finally realizing only the thumbnail strip at top right actually enlarged. Then I finally figured out that I could enlarge those pictures with the expand link on the top right to see the original picture files actual size. Couldn't it be arranged similar to the gallery or at least toss in a "click to enlarge" notation or magnifying glass link button to make it quicker and more obvious?

I realize larger pictures eat up space and bandwidth.. but so does a member needlessly clicking all over a page where he wouldn't normally be clicking just for the sake of finding some larger pic's. Those bigger pic files will get more hits.. but there will be less page jumping to help offset the added bandwidth requirements for those now more often queried full sized picture links. Plus, I normally just need to see 2 pictures. The thumbnail to suck me in.. and the original file size to keep me there for what I want to see. Just off memory, it seems like there's at least 4 different sizes available right now in the various slideshow templates of the different sections.

Not trying to get too greedy here, but my computing power, internet speed, and screen size/resolution(even my smart phone) can easily handle it.. and I want more. Hell, I'll even help pay for it if you need by upping my yearly membership 2 or 4 dollars. Spread the cost.. spread the wealth. Just a casual observation, is all.

Then maybe add a simple link to that specific members media page without having to click on each members name and searching around so much? There are some damned nice cars in this forum and many will eventually want to head out of the garage to go see more pic's. I say it's better to try and keep them IN the garage until they really decide to leave.

Trying to multitask as I wrote this.. so hope all this makes sense and comes off as trying to be helpful. Constructive criticism helps everyone and grows the site. Helps this cars popularity, improves the aftermarket, increases the value. Probably help save some more old cars too. Snowball effects can be good.
