    I personally don't care for bbc motors. I'd rather put an old Caddy 500 or a bop 455 if I had to go to a GM motor. I'd use the 460...

    The Gear Jammers run a couple of them in their class,they will be in Petersburg Va next week,they are pretty neat.I think Ford Strokers.com sells a rotating assembly to turn a 390 into a 428,now you have a mtr that you can make some real power with.For some reason 390`s were always real dogs,I don`t know of anyone who had much luck with them.
