Welcome Frank, you have good taste in cars. The ozzy falcon is great ,and your engine parts are prized here in the USA.
Yes,the Falcon GTHO is right up there!A balls-in-ya-mouth type of car. Where is your location?I cannot make it out from the sidebar,I check my map every time I see a new name come up.Guess I need a list of the states and their abbreviations.
On the East coast ,middle of Georgia ,Just below Macon Ga, Home of southern rock and roll. In Warner Robins Ga. Also 25 miles below macon Ga.
Especially the great Cleveland parts that "down under" kept producing long after the Cleveland was history here in the states
Welcome aboard! I also love the Australian Falcons. I see them quite often around here. We had one in a car show just this weekend that I took a pic of. We actually had 3 of them in one show here about 5-6 years ago. Very cool cars!
Ozzy Falcons For all you guys who love the ozzy Falcons......I am assuming you mean the '70's models (XW,XY) GT's and GTHO's which had the Cleveland 351.However,I have posted in the gallery some pics of my daily driver,a 1992 EB Faimont Ghia wagon,5.0L,auto,4 wheel disc brakes, cruise, climate control air, power (tinted) windows steer and mirrors,immobiliser/central locking/keyless entry, factory 15" alloys. It is also running dual fuel. Not quite the same appeal since they got "fatter" but give 'em time! If you search "ozzy falcon" you should find them.Cheers.
hi and welcome Frank, im the lucky owner of the orange mav,but all credit goes to Ed (fan2488)i will however take credit for the now 380 odd horsepower its putting out. this car is as great to drive as it looks!fell free to keep in touch. this site seems to have a good bunch of guys, with a wealth of knowledge. cheers IVAN
Good looking Ghia Wagon Ozypedeler, I bet the wagon is fast. There was a ford show in Pensacola Florida years ago, that had three great looking Ozy Falcons show up.
Hiya Ivan.Thx for the welcome.Yes,I would like to keep in touch and would like to drop in when I'm next in Qld.(Whereabouts in Qld?Maybe p.m. me).Man!just love your car, creamed my jeans when I saw it!Mr Ed sure did a great job on it.And now it sounds like you have fed it steriods!Mmmmm!Very interesting. I am on the lookout for a Mav,have been talking to a local import guy.More later, better let you go.Cheers.
That's a sweet wagon you got there! I'm a huge fan of the modern Falcons down there. They look awesome not to mention they got the coyote engine as well. We're also envious of the inline 6s you guys got down there! Up here in the states we weren't fortunate enough to get all the cool stuff
Hi "75".Yes its a nice car.Not sure I know the coyote engine though, tell me more. Tell you what, swap you my wagon for your Mav.I'll even throw in a couple of 6cly 250 sixes if you like!lol.
thanks frank, i live about 15mins south of brisbane cbd. Dont let me talk you into a mav, but alot of falcon parts seem to be the same, suspension etc. they are a compact lightweight car,....a recepie that aussies seem to love!im surprised they havent been picked up for touring car masters.(not much bigger than capris and already pack a windsor in them). and you dont see them like you see stangs everywhere!get one for yourself but dont entice your friends to, less over here is better!next time you are up this way feel free to drop in mate. cheers
Aaah, yes,Brissy.Used to live at Wooloowin/Lutwytch on the north side.I am aware of the compatibility of parts Ivan. Was the same when I had my '68 Stang fastback and yes, they are plentiful which is why I sold mine. Also believe the TC Cortina is similar partswise.I also like the small body/big heart thing. So you don't have to talk too hard to me,tho keep it quiet:don't want the friends coming to the party,as you mentioned.haha.In time I will get your personal contact details so that I may call in.Cheers.
