getting some racing seats

    I've got those same seats, except mine are fake leather. I haven't mounted mine yet, so I'd be very interested to see how you do it. I'm thinking I'll just make some risers out of square tubular steel and weld on angle iron mounting points to mount to the factory locations. I haven't taken a hard look at it though.

    I looked at these seats there are a lot to choose from.. I saw a set with red stitching would look good in my red mav. Price is right for sure.. I wonder how hard it would be to make my original bucket seat tracks work ?

    i think the ebay link shows that they come with universal sliders, so i would guess you just need some metal brackets to attach them to the floor. the only reason for the brackets is because the floor isn't a straight even surface.

    Seats look great... I used universal brackets when I put my new seats in ( Corbeau sport) , but still had to build little risers to even it all out ( didnt realize how uneven that floor was until I put the seats in) -- wasnt big on sitting at a angle...
    Wont be too difficult to do.

    how did you end up hooking them up? they look nice in the car. I like them.
