Frank doesn't have a standard 302. He has a well-built hot rod engine. The NASCAR boys spin up over 9,200 RPM. Trouble is, they run 195 MPH at that RPM. Either Frank's car is acting very weird, like the owner, or the dynojet is acting weird. I wonder which it is....
All I know is that the valves start floating in my dad's '95 Mustang at about 6,600. But I didn't say that.

There is something wrong with that Dyno or the Operator of the dyno. I think your tach is closer to being right. I am sure you can hear the difference of a small block running at 6000 vs almost 9000 rpm.
