Rusty posted the info above. When looking at the VIN on the dash...just make sure it has the shaped rivits (kind of a flower type shape). If it has regular plain jane pop rivits, that means somebody took the VIN plate off of another car and put it on this car. It is also possible that the entire dash was moved from one car to another in order to make it "look" like a REAL Grabber, but that would require a lot more work. Here is what I would suggest to verify it is a REAL Grabber and not a clone or rebodied (fake) Grabber. In this order. 1. Look at VIN on dash 2. Look at data sticker on door jamb. These CAN'T be removed and put on another car, but reproductions can be purchased and applied to a car. Look to see that the VIN on that sticker matches the dash VIN. Look to see if the sticker looks original to the car and has some "age" to it. 3. Look at the VIN number stamped in both front aprons. Kind of hard to do with the fenders still on the car. 4. Look for "62D" stamped into the bottom of the rocker panel under the car in the door area. 5. Look at the Grabber Sport Lamp wiring harness. Is it orignal or has it been patched in. I would say the first (2) should be enough to verify it or not.
