Sorry to see it got messed up, but dude... I would be fixing that with pride. That is freakin awesome. And this is a street car? I could see it now... "man, nice car! what happend to the back?" " ...ahh it pulled a couple of wheelies on me the other night..." :evilsmile
Yep, driven on the street quite regularly, it loves 93 octane (when i'm not spraying it) ........logged quite a few street miles in Kentucky this year at the roundup.
wow. just a little bit more and you'd have some roof damage. did you have to change your drawers after you got out of the car?
Wow, that's about the same view that Len Bertrand had in his Maverick. Definitely hooking good, BTW how did the stars look while you were gazing skyward? Wonder if welding a piece across one side of the upper shock mount would have prevented some of the damage to the shock mounts.
thank god you are ok....the car can be fixed.... and you now know that your car has absolute traction.. i am hoping one day to have my wheels come up about 8 .....inches...not feet
Anybody got a picture of that car? Here is the link to the video http://mmb.maverick.to/gallery/misc.php?do=downloadfile&i=1066 A wheelstand like that would have freaked me out! The announcer was also amazed and asked if Anybody got a picture of that car.
Uh...looks like you had quite an uplifting experience there. I must say that was just as quick as it was awesome. You thought about submitting that car for the new space shuttle? "Off we go, into the wild blue yonder; Flying high into the sky..."
The ecstasy and the agony...I don't mean to sound negative, but I was cringing listening to it. I don't want to speak out of turn and Stephen may not feel the same way, I've seen the car in person as many of you have and I'd trade that pass back in a second to have the car back the way it was.
Rick, He will just use it to make more mods to get into the 5's. Can you imagine that happening for the first time? It must be scary. Seth
:bananaman And I saw that car in person!!!:bananaman Stephen, that's awesome...keep us posted on the progress. Look forward to seeing that video.
