Well the maverick was in the shop because it wouldnt start and just for a general check up. the reason for it not starting was the batery cables were REALLY old and rusty so now it starts up all the time.

    Good news.
yall might not know but im sixteen and looking for a job...
SOO the machanic said that i can probably work at the chop and learn more about cars. hHe also said that he would be happy to answer any of my questions and help me work on the car some.

    Question
    1) i was am probably going to get a tachometer and I was onedering how hard is it to install? I heard that there are usually 4 wires that you have to connect. Which ones and what do i connect them too?
    Question
2)the machanic said to check the fluid in the master cylinder. Where is the master cylinder?

the master cylinder is the metal thing sticking off of the fire wall under the hood on the drivers side. theres two sprial metal lines comming down off of it. thats where the break fluid goes. make sure you snap the lid back on when your done

    good luck
