I was there on Saturday from around 11am till the end watching from the pit side bleachers. Matt I saw your round 2 win...awesome!!:thumbs2: I did do some walking around but didn't find you. As you said though Tony...it was nuts( no pun intended ) at the track.

I ended up losing 3rd round. .039 on the tree and dead on 4 couldn't beat a .016 dead on 5. It turns out that's the second year in a row I lost third round to the eventual winner of super street.

The oil pressure on this motor has been driving me crazy. It seems to not drain back good enough and oil pressure drops to 18-25 depending on what we are trying to do to fix the issue on that pass. Not only that but it fills up the breather and shoots oil out the over flow tank and all over then engine compartment making a massive mess every pass. We have changed oil pumps, added breathers, put a restricted push rod in it, put a restrictor in the oil galley, made the oil drain backs bigger in the block and nothing seems to really help the issue. We think part of it may be caused by the oil pan but when I ran the 347 in a stock block it had all the same parts and did not have this issue. The only difference now is we have a dart block and a gapless ring set compared to a stock block and an off the shelf ring set.

At this point I'm struggling between trying to make the 363 right and spending the money on a 289 that I am trying to build to make my maverick a super stocker.

I'm sure you guys did great with the crowds of people I saw in the food areas. I noticed the didn't have any of the buildings open and were using tents instead.

    Gene,

I would love to meet you someday and see your maverick in person. Always good to put a face to the names I see on here.
