   Johnson, the DOHC (dual over head cam) refers to the motor I have for my 2door mav. That is basically a 4 valve per cylinder head design that mounts the twin camshafts on top of the valves for a more efficient design. For a total of four cams and 32valves on a 4.6 liter (281cu in) 8 cyl engine with aluminum block and heads.
