Got a call from my mechanic today

    I have headers and still kept the auto on the column. Takes a lot of patience, time and a welding maching. It's just a matter of trial and error. Mine was a I6 car and I did the V-8 swap. I'll try to take some pics if I can get the camera down in there. Don't get discouraged. If you want to keep the column shifter, you can. Take care! Preston

    On another note, I saw in Summit that Lokar or was it B&M makes a cable kit for a column shift setup for GM, looks like that may be a way to go to get more clearance as well. Just got to thinking about running a cable and making adapters do that and lo and behold it's out there, well for the GM guys anyway.
