got my first ticket in my Maverick this morning

    I totally agree with this statement but writing me a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt in a car that is exempt from the law is like writing you a ticket for improper registration for having truck tags on a pickup truck. or for doing 55 mph in a 55mph zone. The law says I don't have to wear it and he should have know that since he is a traffic cop.....wouldn't ya think...hehehehe :thumbs2:

    :hmmm:mmmm I see 8 days in the electric chair,30 days in the gas chamber and a $50 fine plus court cost...and still going to be pi$$ed off even if they throw it out :yup:

    In most traffic courts you are assumed guilty until you can prove innocence. Otherwise it is just a cop's word against yours - no proof either way. The court has to take the cop's word over yours or the court could never find anyone guilty.
    If there are two people in the car the cop can't win if they tell the same story in court.
