Kind of gives the car that old gasser look. I have always liked the looks of the Halibrands, but originals are hard to find and very pricey !

Those wheels look awesome!:thumbs2: Did you get them off of E-bay?I have seen some on there-price is hard to beat. Are they true(round & not warped)?Do they look like they will hold up to regular street driving(rough roads, potholes, etc)?Curious,I would like to get a set for my Galaxie.

They'd look great on a Galaxie Tim. I think the old Maverick Pro Sotckers ran a wheel kinda like this. Too many people around here run Torque Thrusts and the Magnums were cool but I wanted something a little more to make it pop. I think it worked. The wheels look strong enough and are a heavy street style wheel. The polishing is not the best and the maching on the 'spokes' or around the holes could be better. I wouldn't feel confident in running them on my Mustang. Ebay... They come in a plain white box with just the description and a big blue MADE IN CHINA rubber stamped across the sides. When the UPS guy dropped them off I felt like a trader and that made me sad, then when I opened the boxes and looked at the wheels I was happy again.

Good deal.My other real concern would be...if you damaged one(blowout, etc)do you think you could just buy one or a pair? All I've seen on E-bay is auction for a set.Guess it depends on the seller you deal with huh?

i bought them from Ron's Rims on eBay. He's a super nice guy and I'm sure you could buy just one wheel at a time if you needed. i bought mine 2 at time. Bought the front runners first so I could be sure I was happy with them.

#1 I envy your Maverick..... Not that I don't love mine but the red grabber with the stock 302 was my first car and my only true love (hahahaha) I really like the fact that you have A/C on the stock 302.

As far as the rims are concerned They look good but I am oldskewl and really like the Magnum 500's better. All a matter of taste and opinion.

I wish my Maverick was 5 lug right now I would try to make you an offer on the Magnums that you took off. But alas My Yellow Rose is but 4 lug.

No Worry though I'll get me a 5 lug 302 before all is said and done. Maybe give the I6 to my son when he turns 16 and Dad (me) will get a V8

Good luck with your Car it looks great with either set of rims
