I really like the engine matt looks good not overdone. I use headman elite headers. Great fitting and heavy duty. NOt the easiest to change plugs on. Had to make my own custom ground socket. The flanges are near warp proof they are so thick. The tubes are much thicker than standard headers. So the spark plug are a little harder to get to. They come coated but not that shiney stuff htc. They have a ball flare style fitting on the bottom side so no gaskets to blow out there. I check my bolts at least twice a mth. always find a few that come loose. WIth those thick flanges though I have never burned a gasket and have even lost a few bolts when I forget to check them. Keep on mavericking.:bananaman (y)

Sam; I had a set of headers on my '77, back in '77, that were made like that, with individual flanges, instead of a solid flange. I wish I could remember who made them, but I do know that Holley bought them out. Those were the best headers I ever had. No leaks, and easy to get in and out. Plus, plenty of room for the plugs and wires. If anyone knows the name, let me know. Hope they are still made.
