Not if you lift it at the rear. Put the rear axle on jack stands so it's higher than the front and you shouldn't lose any.

OK so now I have the new modulator installed and have run into a bit of a wall. When I try to accelerate in drive it won't move unless I give it a lot of gas. I have to almost floor it to get the car to move. I am using the green ring governor that you all recommended. I have a vacuum line tree coming off my intake manifold that has three places for vacuum lines. What isn't making sense to me is when I have the line hooked to the middle one of the three the car stays running but when I switch it to the left one the car tries to shut off. This doesn't make any sense to me because they should all be pulling the same amount of vacuum. I can't figure out what's going on here. I really need some help with this one. Here are some pictures of it. Screenshot_20160903-235226.png 20160903_233344.jpg

It's acting like the new one isn't getting enough vacuum, or it isn't set right. The new modulator I got is adjustable. I'm starting to think it's the tree on the intake that may be causing a vacuum problem. Seeing as the ports should all be pulling the same vacuum it seems like it may be clogged or broken somewhere. I tested for a vacuum leak with carb cleaner while the car was running but didn't find any. That's what makes me think it could be clogged.

The port circled in red is where that tree is attached. I really hope someone can help me figure this one out. I'm in a bind.

Pull the hose with the engine running and put you finger on the port, quick and easy way to check for vacuum.

I already did that and it runs fine when I plug it.
