Looks like nice work. If I ever get a Grabber I'll consider it.

i would love to put them on my car but when they painted my car they painted the ends while they were on the car... if i pull them off they will crack the paint since the crease is filled in with paint... a very bad dealo... so oh wells... i doing these basicly for other people. my sugestion would be to keep the spoiler in carbon and paint half of the ends bule so the spoiler flows... or you can keep the super bee look ;)

If someone could get their hands on a set of extensions that Auto Krafters made a while ago, let you borrow them for a while, then you could use them for the molding process. That would open up the door to us "big bumper" guys. I would be interested in a fiberglass spoiler set if you ever make the extensions for a big bumper Mav!

Looks like you have some nice quality stuff there, great work!

its easy enough to make your own big bumper spoiler end caps, he wouldnt have to have the A.K.part to make a mold.

he just has to want to make them for the big bumper cars (y)

RadMav, I know what you are saying, and I realize that you made your own for your big bumper car (which is awesome), but I was just trying to give him some "easy" options so he would pursue making the extensions. I think there are a lot of big bumper Mavericks out there, and the spoiler would make a really nice addition.

CometGT1974, I know a lot of guys "convert" the big bumper cars to small bumpers. However, I would never do that for a couple of reasons. Number one, my first car was a '76 Stallion, which of course had big bumpers. I really never noticed Mavericks that much before I saw the Stallion on a used car lot (and fell in love, lol), so small bumpers never had the appeal that they might have had for a lot of you guys. Reason number two, which ties into reason number one, for me the big bumpers never looked "out of place" or too big because it's what looked normal to me, being the "look" that I first noticed anyway. Even now that I have been "exposed" to the small bumper cars, I prefer the bigger bumpers, it kind of gives the car a solid, proportionate look for the design to start and end with (in my opinion anyway). I plan on making my '76 Maverick into a Stallion clone someday, and it will always have big bumpers. However, I wouldn't mind adding a few nice touches to dress it up even more (without giving it a tacky, over done look), and I think a Grabber spoiler would be very nice!

Anyway, I hope Maverick Man goes forward with making the extensions for the big bumper cars. Perhaps all of us with the big bumper cars should let him know we are interested to give him some incentive!

Okkee Dokkee for me. I'm outta town this week and will be working at the NHRA Winter Nats next week, so I guess I'm close enough to let ya do this. Just say when. Next Tuesday or maybe Wednesday is good for me.

Sorry I couldn't talk much when ya called. I was in a noisy restaurant. My third favorite past time is eating, but that shows........too much.
