The TCP came with 450. It was fairly stiff. When I changed to the Ridetech C/O's they recommended I try 350 springs so thats what is on it now. Im thinking of going to 400's but nothing more. Especially now that I have a 1-1/8 sway bar.
Chris, I'm curious to know what length spring they gave you. I've never had someone run such a lightweight 9" spring (what we send) on the front of a Maverick before. That said, it does make sense to run it softer with such a big sway bar. You must be getting some wicked front stick and/or very little in the rear to need such a big sway bar up front. I know we have talked about it a couple times but that still blows my mind, ha!
They are 12" 350 lb springs on the front. Shocks have 5" travel. The rear are 12" 225 lb springs with 5" travel shocks. I may go to 400 lb springs on the front but the ride is really nice right now. With the 450 lb springs I had, the car was pretty stiff. To the point were talking was a little encumbered while cruising.
people using a picture of your car to sell stuff on craigslist :/ http://tijuana.craigslist.com.mx/cto/4640156887.html
Got my new hood scoop mounted. Looks awesome. I need to figure out a grill screen to finish it off though.
Glad I found this thread! Your car is my inspiration for my build. Although it won't be as well built as yours for awhile! Lol.
Food for thought for after you get your motor sorted out. This trick always helped out any car I ran on the drag strip. Get a set of quick disconnect sway bar links for the front and unhook them at the strip for better 60 foot times…
