I have to say so far the hydraulic clutch set-up is very nice (thanks markso125 for the link and info) I am using a Lakewood Bellhousing/Scattershield and running an 11" clutch/flywheel set-up, this Master and Slave for the TREMEC (Wilwood Master Cylinder/Slave for Tremec 3550, TKO, TKO 500/600) http://rosehillperformanceparts.com/Products_Page.htm#-:Tremec 3550, TKO 500/600 Bracket Kits:- were easy to install and work wonderfully, I did have to shorten my drive shaft about an inch, and due to having a long input shaft had to make a spacer to go between the bell and tranny, clutch works very well and is easy on the leg, much better than the cable set-up I had could ever be.

I have six (6) broken valve springs between the two heads, one bent valve and luckily no damage to any of the pistons, new springs coming!

Did you go with cam kit or randomly chose the setup? Seems odd to have broke 6 springs! Luck u didn't damage a piston or worse, the engine.

I bought the heads used and had them checked out at the cylinder head shop to see if they would be compatible with my cam, from the test he ran, spring rate, #'s of pressure and so on, test indicated they would be ok to use, I don't have a clue what they went through before I got them, was the engine ran hot? ran hard and so on, well I have learned my lesson and got very lucky with minimal damage, from now on I know!

You going w/ different spring spec's? Seems like something amiss, spring compression rate, height, rocker ratio or adjustment. Hope you get it figured out w/o any more damage. Got a lot invested.

Yeah I believe those springs broke shortly after initial startup, nothing but trouble from them.
