Thanks guys, I can't spray much with it raining all the time, the compressor just wants to suck in too much humidity for the drier/seperator to handle, I got to get this engine running first then the easy stuff starts, I thought I had a double hump tranny mount but I can't find it or I used it on the Blue Grabber, the PO cut one side off the one I have and I don't trust it to hold, body work when I get too it will be minimal, just a few door dings and very little rust and its done, just want to hear this 351w bust off then the fun begins, I will post a few more pics in a bit.

Got a larger better battery, installed it and tried to crank the engine, it will turn over slowly but there is no fire, got to looking at the wires for the duraspark ignition that are there, man these wires have been cut and spliced quite a few times and the connectors are pretty much trashed, I have another duraspark setup I am going to use tomorrow, just gotta wire it in PROPERLY!!
Also picked up a Hayden electric fan yesterday, 16" gonna try it out.

Got crossmember on, got both glasspacks on, being lazy but I still gotta put nuts on the motor mount bolts, reattach my idler arm and put the driveshaft back on, then theres the issue of the clutch cable, I gotta figure this thing out, what's everyone else using for a clutch cable, please describe all parts you are using like whats coming thru the firewall and how it attaches to the pedal, I already have the mount at the tranny, the PO had the clutch pedal really high up in the car, don't want that.

Pulled fuel tank and glad I did, not much rust but some floating crap that resembles mud:hmmm:, gotta get a new sock for the pickup and gonna put a hunk of chain in it and shake it up a bit, ran the engine long enough today to get it to heat up and burn off all the new paint, man that STUNK bad, it goes throught a quart of fuel in 2 minutes when running it!! carb i'm sure needs adjusting still.

It's all before finish painting and tweaking some of the lines but I'm almost there, my new master cylinder didn't come with a clip to lock the brake rod in so I have been on the hunt all day!

Stock stands and mounts, but I did use a spacer of sorts to raise the engine 1/2 inch for better fitment on the headers, also I was told a 351W is taller anyhow so I figured it wouldn't hurt to raise it a bit more and get a better fit, have to cut the hood anyhow so I figured might as well go UP ^^^, I don't mind cutting one of the three Grabber hoods I have ;).

I used GM trunk splatter paint on a green Maverick Grabber I had once. It was black/grey with specs of green in it. It looked pretty good.

Yeah I painted it all gray, then took a straight pin and heated the end a bit and stuck it in the nozzle (WARNING do not try this at all) for the green can of paint (yes I removed it from the can first) and opened it up a bit, after that it splatters pretty good, moved the same nozzle to the black and did a little of it, anything would have been an improvement, it was really nasty looking.
Also welded new metal into those small rusty spots I had.
Prolly need to get a couple of potatoes and cut them for my eyes, might have burnt them a bit in that tight area of the trunk :yikes: if it gets too bad I do have some Procaine drops.
