every once in a while when im putting the car into reverse (3 speed manual) theres a grinding noise.. it isn't any harder to put it in gear but you can feel the grinding. also i make sure i put the clutch all the way to the floor and it only happens when i put it in reverse. is something wearing out?

If the car is not stopped COMPLETELY it will always grind. The clutch has to be completely disengaged too - so you might check the clutch adjustment.

Try putting the trans in second gear before shifting to reverse. This will stop the counter shaft from free wheeling (which can cause the grinding)
If it still does it from second...Clutch isnt disengageing or trans is telling you its time to look inside it and see whats up.
Dont forget to be certain the gear oil is topped off in the trans as well. Good luck!!!
