Gt 500 lights

I bought a fiberglass tail panel and I'm doing the cougar till like the 67, 68.

 

Interesting.
The '67 Shelby GT350 and GT500 had those tail lights without the chrome bezels, and did not use the fiberglass panel. The '68-'70 GT350 & GT500 had the panel but used '65 Thunderbird tail lights. Do those Cougar tail lights actually fit in that panel? Kind'a doesn't look like it...
