Holley 600 single line with the fuel line going between the two fuel bowls right? PCV vacuum port is on the passenger side near the rear. never pulled enough vacuum on mine tho.
When I swapped to the 4100, no PCV port, I used a one inch spacer, drilled and tapped a 3/8 pipe fitting in there. Works quite well.

Sorry, my mistake. If you look at your picture at about 2 oclock inside the circle you'll see the little nipple for the choke I was talking about. I think it lets air into the choke housing.
I did'nt lean forward enough to look at the picture the first time.

Just saved me on a 79' Ford 400 with performer intake manifold. Pull my edelbrock carb in the morning and fix... was thinking ignition,,, just not fuel... Thanks for the save! Dual plane takes the win.

Yep, old thread but I couldn't resist. Had a guy come in for air hoses during blow out season last year, he had a tow behind compressor powered by a 4 cylinder 302. It was a 302 with one bank powering the unit and the other pumping the air. Most bizarre thing I had seen but it ran like a champ!

Thanks for that.. now my brain hurts from trying to figure out how that's even possible. :dizzy:

EFI/carb feeding manifold tied only to 4 cylinders? Then the other side has a free breathing non-fueled intake with exhaust that feeds the compressor tank?

Well I'll be a monkeys uncle. Just goes to show how inventive people have always been. That and just how many variations of the internal combustion engine there are out there. I like it when things come back around into fashion and the companies selling them try to make people think it's new technology. Ahh.. capitalism at it's finest. Gotta love it.

PS. one guy in that link said something about a 460 conversion. I want one for my shop compressor! hahaha

LOL, with at least a .650 lift & 280* duration cam??

With intake blocked and aux intake ports drilled into head, along with exhaust rockers removed, one could push lots of air out the spark plug openings... Some type of reed/one way valving would be necessary...

I have a pretty good imagination.. but imagining the sound of a reed valved 460 eludes me. Maybe a bit like a HUGE rotax motor? :bouncy:
