    That is an area high on the quarter and I'm sure someone on the board could cut you off a piece from a parts car quarter that is all rotted on the bottom - I bought a lot of pieces that way :)

    If you cut anything you will have to weld, mav70 has a good idea. The shiny spots can be pick hammered down,or just use a punch on the shiny crown spots,if you can live with that. Then rebondo till happy . Go to a big book store and read a Body working book with pictures to learn more. Its a project of patience and tlc.:thumbs2:

    thanks for all the suggestions, I'll probably look into getting a section and or knocking it down with a punch... with as much work as I've put into it over the last couple weeks (days off of work) I'm about ready to give it a rest and work on something else.

    I just replaced a high section of my own quarter that I cut from a used quarter that I bought from a guy in Rochester, NY about 4 years ago - a previous owner backed into something crushing the corner - the bottom piece is from one of those new stamped out quarters - other replacement pieces for my car came rust free from Rick Brooks in Texas
