Yep! that's my car, and its a '70 I looked at the VIN....and sorry, it is 77K, I totally messed that one up. The brakes don't need that much work, I think it's more of a problem with the engine. The gas they have in that car is old and I think a new tank of gas will do it a lot of good. But the tires are spotting cause they've been sitting so long and its a little loose in the front end. A little adjustment will do good. Otherwise its a straight body and almost no rust at all. By the way is that your red mav. in the pictures?

Yea, thats my daily driver. Gave $100 for it on December 1, 2005 with no drivetrain. It's came a long way but is far from being "nice". Body has issues, but it's a good driving car that I ain't afraid to get dirty.

You need any help with that Mav, let me know.

Nice looking car. Sounds like you got lucky. I'm surprised somebody else didn't jump on that one. Welcome.

Wow ... that car has been for sale for a while .... Did they ever come down off the $3500 price tag?

Yeah, I wouldn't have paid $3500 for it! When I went and saw it he had it down to 3000, but he's a hard bargainer. Do ya'll think that was a good price, I think it was a little much but I really wanted the car.....I got a little attached, but I'm only sixteen, I guess I can overpay for my first car! :)

A rust-free running all original small bumper? Definitely worth $3,000 ... you did good .. Now don't wreck it teeny-bopper! :D

I think 3,000 is more then fair for that car. When I looked at it they wanted 4,000 and "might" have taken 3,500. They definately seemed a little stubborn with it.

Well that's good to know. I thought I overpayed a little but if ya'll say its fair then I feel a lot better. And there's no way that I'm gonna wreck that car....no way at all. Everything for that car is coming out of my own pocket and there's no way that I want it to get in harms way. Speaking of which, does anybody have any racing mirrors that they might want to sell?

Yea, thats what I said. Then on November 29th of last year, that all changed! All I can tell you is be very aware of what's going on around you at all times. And if you are unsure, don't chance it. It's not that YOU will wreck it, but there are alot of crazy drivers in and around Atlanta that are only concerned with getting where they want to go, and they could care less about your car that you have put thousands of dollars and months worth of work into. I have had 2 wrecks, totaled the car I was driving both times, and there was absolutely nothing I could have done to prevent them. I was just driving along when someone else decided they needed to go through the intersection worse then I did!
